Nick, Melinda, Jed and Rosie welcome you to Townsend Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast. Our hope is that you will make this your 'home away from home' while you relax and enjoy your stay, whether on business, holiday or just a quick get-away'. Townsend Farmhouse offers 4 Star Silver accommodation in a Grade II listed 17th century farmhouse, fully refurbished to the highest standards, yet retaining many original and charming features. From the moment you pull into the drive, you can leave the 'real world' behind, step back into a bygone age and relax in a warm, comfortable, inviting environment. We do prepare a delicious Exmoor breakfast where the ingredients are locally sourced and breakfast is included in the full rack rate. The discounted rate per night does NOT include this breakfast. However you may add it for £10 per person at time of stay. There is a variety on the menu to choose from including traditional full English, American Omelette with choice of fresh ingredients or smoked salmon with scrambled eggs and mushrooms. There is a selection of cereals, museli and oatmeal (porridge) along with Miles freshly ground coffee and tea!
